Margherita Maccapani Missoni

Margherita Missoni is AnOthermag.com’s latest digital cover star and looks stunning might I add. The brand ambassador and now accessories designer was shot by Lina Scheynius (one of my favourite photographers) at grandmother Missoni’s Italian countryside estate and styled by Katie Shillingford, in nothing but Missoni pieces both past and present.
Have always dreamt of over grown hedges, red brick walls, scuffed carpets and barbour jackets.
Fireplaces, fall and brandy.
Nestled quietly in to the depths of the countryside.
I am a city girl, yes. Looking for a little peace, finally. Please.

Body Electric

I have spent the last week a little out of the loop.
Spending large amounts of time in the quiet,
trying to clear my mind of thoughtless clutter and spend my days reading.
REAL books and everything.

Aside from the Interview Magazine’sLet’s Get Lost‘ editorial that had me all in a tizzy, actually more furious than anything else, I’ve virtually been glossy free.  So it was refreshing to see this lovely V magazine editorial from this month’s S/S issue pop in to my inbox this morning.

Once again model of the moment Jamie Bochert steps in front of  the cameras for super duo Inez Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who also happened to shoot Bochert for the Lanvin Spring/Summer 2010 campaign.  Here the stunning veteran model (along side ballet dancer James Applewhite) has been styled by Joe McKenna and decked out in dazzling acid brights and disco detailing and of course a little Miu Miu finesse for those still in lust with the kitty-cat detailing.

Dominic Jones for Vice Style

I must admit I have been out of the Vice mag loop for a little while now. It’s celebration of hipster raunch has left me more than a little bored. But the launch of the magazine’s Vice Style Beta site has piqued my interest once again. The website showcases some serious styling talent, cool concepts and fantastic interviews featuring Karl Largerfeld, Brix Smart,  Crystal Renn and crap loads more.

Death Becomes Her is my favorite editorial to date and was part of the Vice magazine fashion issue. It is shot by Ellis Scott and features pieces created my jewelry wunderkind Dominic Jones. The twist here is the use of dead sea animals and simplistic gold chains.

So Brilliant! Dreamy and ethereal and not at all repulsive as one would expect. DJ Babez, I am yer biggest freaking fan! So totally BANANAS.

Harper’s Bazaar March 2010

Just picked up this month’s Harper’s Bazaar issue and was thrilled to find a great editorial spread celebrating Pedro Almodovar’s work. He’s one of the greatest in my humble opinion and HB’s fashionable recast of his most memorable scenes is a fantastic idea.

Edge of the World

GQ UK’s  latest Style issue features a a gorgeously melancholy editorial shot by Chad Pitman and features my favorite boys Cole Mohr, Jethro Cave and Luke Worral.  The team have also compiled a dreamy short film to accompany the piece and can be seen here.

V mag PUSH IT REAL GOOD

V magazine’s  Salt-n-Pepa inspired editorial is so BANG ON!
Featuring stunners Liya Kebede and Lily Donaldson sporting a mash up of all my favourite eighties fashions including mesh dresses, gigantic gold door knockers, acid wash denim and fluro nylon jackets.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the actual issue, as it’s jammed packed with more lust worthy editorials
including the supa hawt Raquel Zimmerman playing a crazy housewife shot by Mario Sorrenti.
